PlayDrop Fees & Taxes
Every PlayDrop total is made up of three parts: the Drop Price set by the facility, Ontario HST, and the PlayDrop booking fee.

Your total is the Drop Price plus applicable tax. PlayDrop is paid a commission by the facility, not by you. Bookings made before this change kept the booking fee that was shown and charged at the time.
How your total is built
Drop Price + Ontario HST + PlayDrop Booking Fee = Customer Total
Drop Price
The Drop Price is set by the facility for that specific date, time and space. It is usually well below the facility's regular rate and may drop further as the date gets closer.
Ontario HST
Applicable Ontario HST is added to your booking and shown as its own line at checkout. The rate in effect is always the rate shown on the checkout page.
PlayDrop booking fee
PlayDrop charges a booking fee per booking. The fee is configured by the PlayDrop main administrator and can change over time, so the fee shown on your checkout page is always the fee that applies to your booking.
What the facility receives
The facility receives the Drop Price and applicable tax for the booking. PlayDrop keeps only the booking fee. Payments and payouts are handled by our payment processor.
Refunds
Customer cancellations are non-refundable, including tax and the PlayDrop booking fee. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
